The cover video (shown below, right) received over 368,000 views in over one year. On May 21st, 2021, YouTube user Frog Leap Studios (Leo Moracchioli) posted a metal cover of the song. The cover video (shown below, left) received over 185,000 views in over three years. On March 20th, 2019, YouTube user Ska Tune Network posted a Ska cover of the song. A clip of the episode (shown below) was posted to YouTube by Comedy Central UK on February 26th, 2018, where it received over 3.1 million views in over four years. On May 25th, 2017, Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard lip-synced the song on an episode of Lip Sync Battle while dressed up as Buddy Holly. The music video was also included in the installation CD-ROM for Windows 95 (shown below, right). Al Molinaro, however, plays his old Happy Days character Al Delvecchio in the video. The music video features Weezer performing the song as if it was an episode of Happy Days, with various characters from the show dancing to the song using edited clips from the show. On June 17th, 2009, the song's music video (shown below, left) was posted to YouTube by Weezer's official channel, where it received over 65 million views in over thirteen years. The song was first released on Weezer's Blue Album on May 10th, 1994, and was released as a single on September 7th, 1994.
